NURSING STAFF REQUIRED
OPERATING SUITE & ENDOSCOPY UNIT

We currently require the following nurses to join our team:
- Registered Nurses with scrub/scout and recovery experience
- Registered Nurse with Endoscopy experience
These permanent part-time positions (with the ability to work up to fulltime hours if required) would be ideal for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse with Perioperative and Endoscopy experience and a willingness to contribute to development of the team.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager (Theatres) to get the job done this role will include working in theatres dealing with general surgical, ENT, oral surgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics. Ideally you would be able to scrub scout and work in recovery.
Essential requirements we are seeking include;
- Eligible for Registration with the Nurses & Midwives Board of Australia.
- Ability to plan and organise own work.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-tasking within the ward environment.
- Experience working in the Perioperative environment
If applying for the Endoscopy RN position you must have demonstrable experience in this area
Other skills that would be viewed as being highly desirable would include;
- Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement Principles
- Application of OSH requirements
