Privately owned and operated, Waikiki Private Hospital is the wonderful team environment you have been looking to work in. We currently recruiting to expand our ward nursing team and seek to fill the following roles in a friendly Medical/Surgical ward:
- Clinical Nurse
- Registered Nurses
- Enrolled Nurses
These permanent part-time positions (with the option to work up to fulltime hours if desired) would be ideal for a suitably qualified nursing staff seeking to join a dedicated and multidisciplinary team environment.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager (Wards) this role will include postoperative care of patients undergoing surgery in areas of General Surgical, ENT, Oral Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Gynaecology and Urology. In addition to this the ward provides care for medical and palliative patients.
Essential requirements we are seeking include;
- Eligible for Registration with the Nurses & Midwives Board of Australia.
- Ability to plan and organise own work.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-tasking within the ward environment.
Other skills that would be viewed as being highly desirable would include;
- Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement Principles
- Application of OSH requirements
